1. Preset bend for side discharge. The body angle sends discharge away from a wall, embankment, or side branch. Where a straight valve would face an obstruction or need an extra elbow, the curved form handles flow direction and backflow prevention in one component.
2. Pressure-actuated rubber closure. Forward head opens the slit. As reverse pressure rises, the rubber lips close more firmly. This suits tidal outlets, stormwater channels, and basins with changing water levels. With no hinged disc, the valve also avoids slam and water-hammer impact.
3. Reinforced bend section. A structural reinforcement layer is molded into the curved section. It keeps the bend at its designed angle under long-term external water pressure or in a suspended side-wall installation, preventing collapse around the discharge opening.
Customization Capabilities
- Nominal diameters can be produced from DN100 to DN1200. Sizes DN800 to DN1200 can use double-hoop reinforcement.
- The bend radius, outlet direction, mounting length, and connection can be matched to a flange, mounting plate, or socket installation.
- Rubber compounds can be selected for weather, seawater, or acid and alkali exposure.
Quality Control
Rubber hardness, tensile properties, aging behavior, and curing characteristics are checked by batch. The molded bend angle, outlet direction, slit geometry, wall thickness, and connection dimensions are compared with the approved drawing. Finished valves are tested for forward opening, elastic recovery, and reverse-pressure sealing. Large sizes are also checked for deformation under their own weight, and transport supports are fitted before packing. Every valve receives final inspection. Third-party inspection is accepted.

A: The bend is fixed in its designed position with internal or external supports. The valve is wrapped against moisture and abrasion, then packed in a carton or wooden case according to size.
