The Flexible Joint Flange Type is a flanged corrugated metal hose used as a flexible connection between pipes and equipment. It is installed in oil, chemical, power, HVAC, water, steam, gas, and corrosive-fluid systems, including pump, valve, and heat-exchanger connections.

1. Hydraulically formed 304 or 316L stainless-steel bellows. Uniform annular corrugations create a controlled bending line along the full live length. In tight equipment layouts and thermal-cycling pipework, the hose flexes progressively instead of forming one sharp kink that concentrates fatigue in a few corrugations.
2. Stainless-steel braid carries pressure thrust. The external braid restrains axial elongation of the corrugated core while preserving lateral flexibility. Under internal pressure, vibration, and repeated offset motion, the braid transfers load to the end fittings and prevents the bellows from extending uncontrollably.
3. All-metal service from -200 to +600°C. Stainless bellows and welded flanged ends operate in steam, cryogenic, hot-oil, gas, and exhaust-related lines beyond elastomer temperature limits. During extreme temperature cycling, the metal pressure path retains flexibility without rubber hardening, softening, or thermal degradation.

Quality Control
Incoming stainless material is checked for grade and thickness. Corrugation pitch and profile are measured after hydraulic forming, and welds are examined for continuity and penetration. Flange dimensions, alignment, and sealing faces are inspected before testing. Every assembly receives hydrostatic testing at 1.5 times design pressure and air-tightness testing at 1.1 times design pressure. Surface condition and movement are checked on every unit before shipment.
