3. Controlled PN6 to PN16 deformation. Reinforcement layers limit radial growth while preserving axial, lateral, and angular flexibility. Quality Control
Rubber batch properties and reinforcement materials are checked before molding. The cord layer count and flange-bead turn-up are inspected during lay-up. Vulcanization parameters are recorded by batch. Finished joints are measured for face-to-face length, flange alignment, bolt-hole accuracy, and sphere uniformity. Every unit receives a water-pressure test at 1.5 times design pressure and an air-tightness test at 1.1 times design pressure before release.
