1. Pure PTFE wetted surface. The conveyed fluid contacts a continuous PTFE bellows rather than metal reinforcement. In strong acid, alkali, solvent, or high-purity service, the bore remains chemically inert and avoids galvanic attack or metal-ion contamination.
2. Repeatable movement without sharp folding. The formed convolutions spread bending strain across the active length. Axial, lateral, angular, and combined movement is shared across the bellows instead of being forced into one local fold, giving steadier cycling at reactor, tank, and pump connections.
3. Smooth non-stick internal bore. PTFE resists adhesion and buildup. In pharmaceutical, food, electroplating, or semiconductor lines, the smooth bore retains less material, is easier to flush, and is less likely to narrow between batches.

Quality Control
PTFE raw material identity and molding condition are checked before forming. After molding, wall thickness, convolution spacing, bore finish, flange alignment, and surface integrity are inspected. Each finished joint receives a hydrostatic test at 1.5 times working pressure and an air-tightness test at 1.1 times working pressure. The bore is checked for pinholes, inclusions, and forming damage before final cleaning and packing. Third-party inspection is accepted.
